Space for Everyone is a long awaited collaboration between two space lovers, Empirical and The Adler Planetarium. We both love the science behind yeast and how it turns liquids into alcohol, so we decided to brew something with multiple strains of yeast and bacteria, a kettle sour. Each time we brew a new batch of this beer we will ad different ingredients to continue our exploration for great flavors. The base of the beer is Plisner and Raw Wheat malts with Comet hops and both Saccharomyces and Lactobacillus. For our first batch we brewed with Piloncillo brown sugar and added peaches and plums to the fermenter. The result is tart and light in body, fruity, refreshing and has a malty finish. We will never cease to explore!
